YouthAction's Big Skills Day Wednesday 12 November was attended by Past President Brian Clements as well as members Eric Rainey and Shaun Hannon. It was a fantastic day lasting from 9.30am - 3.30 pm. About 30 young people focussed this time on learning entrepreneurial skills. William Redpath and Chloe did 2 workshops based on entrepreneurial skills to enable the young people to think about how they might pursue their own goals. It was all about confidence to be able to stand up and talk to the business partners who were there such as Invest NI, BT, EE, insurance companies and Club members. This was so worthwhile - at least 3 young people came up afterwards to thank them and shake their hands. The Club commends YouthAction for the programme.
