Each table decided on a potential business and one member stood up and explained their plan which was challenged by the Dragons.

YA AGM Nov24The other YouthAction event attended that day was their AGM at which Pamela Ballentine was elected as Chair.
  • Gala 1President Ken, President Elect Heather and Christopher Shiell had a most entertaining evening and were greatly impressed at the talent of the young people at YouthAction NI’s gala performance of their latest production “Everybody’s talking about Jamie”, Friday 09 August. They also enjoyed talking to YA’s Clare Conlon, Mark Clegg and Grace O'Neill during the reception about YA’s work and gratefully thank for the invitation.

    Gala 3Gala 2PE Heather notes:
“The kids have talent! The message was one of inclusivity - a great topic, considering this week's conflicting protests of anti-immigrant and anti-racist protests. The town centre was blocked off to cars, so there was a worry people might stay away, but there was still a full house! A most heartwarming night when everyone had fun!!"
