Rotary Club of Belfast

Grub Club at the Metropolitan College

DSC0128742 members and partners enjoyed a convivial fine dining evening at the Linen Lounge Restaurant at the Belfast Metropolitan College, Tuesday 04 November. The delicious 3 course meal so beautifully presented was prepared and served under supervision by teams of 8 and 4 students respectively and ranged from pigeon, butternut squash risotto and soup of the day to guinea fowl, lamb and cod all finished off with a delightful selection of desserts and complimentary petits fours with tea and coffee.

President Ronnie thanked the supervisors and the students of the cookery, bakery and hospitality courses and PP Alan Rundle for organising the evening. The Supervisor thanked all for coming adding that it was great experience for the students  and hoped members would return. Past President Alan thanking members for such a great turn-out concluded that it may well become an annual event.
