Rotary Club of Belfast

"Went to the Dogs" at Drumbo Park

1.Rotary Party23 Members, partners and friends spent an excellent evening 'at the dogs!', Friday 2 May.

Having enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal, with plenty of choice the racing of the evening began - and there was plenty with 11 "live" races at the Stadium and 12 shown on the TV's from Harold's Cross Stadium, Dublin. With the betting explained by the patient Tote staff we tried our luck but unfortunately for some Courtenays Icon or Courtenays Impact brought no joy; nor did any runners in the Rotary President Ken Morrison Stakes!

However great fun and fellowship was had by all added to by singing, the cake and bubbly to celebrate Lord Laird wife's birthday. Thank you Doris for organising such a fun night.
