World Rotary Day 26 Today - World Rotary Day - is a time to reflect on the remarkable achievements of Rotarians and acknowledge Rotary's relentless commitment to promoting peace and doing good in local communities and throughout the globe. Since its founding by Paul Harris in Chicago in 1905, Rotarians have made a remarkable impact globally by nearly eradicating polio, training peacebuilders, supporting education for millions and most recently championing protecting the environment. Every single day, our network of 1.4 million changemakers across the globe is transforming lives, bringing people together, and making a difference in our communities.
