Rotary Club of Belfast

A Night of Magical Music

FinaleThe Club was delighted to support the Inner Wheel club of Belfast’s concert – A Night of Magical Music. Held in Fisherwick Presbyterian Church, Saturday 18 October. It was a very high-class musical evening with a varied programme.

The 200 strong audience were entranced by the glorious voices of sopranos Megan Mooney and Claudia Clendinning and the violin playing of (l-r) Haley Howe with classical, show and folk pieces accompanied by Andrew Tubman. In addition, the celebrated Victoria College Senior Choir conducted by Mrs Aoibheann Harrisson enthralled accompanied by Mrs Melissa Murray and students Coleena Chan, Saoirse Rippon and Martha Scott. The proceedings were beautifully crafted together by the compere, Wendy Austin and the delightful evening, capped by a fabulous finale of One More Day from Les Misérables, garnered a standing ovation from the delighted audience who all left smiling.

The concert was in aid of the local and international charities Women’s Aid and Water Aid.
