Mitchell House Xmas Party 2024
The Club was delighted to end activities for the 2024 year by providing on December 11, for the Mitchell House Junior School children, the traditional Christmas party. This year was the 20th one and was as enjoyable as ever! As in previous years it followed the well-known formula with some singing, games, drinks and snacks supplied by the Club and a riotous show by 'Magic George' which was another huge success and had all in raptures. This was exemplified by the laughs, squeals, laughter and sheer enjoyment on the children's faces as he entertained with his juggling, unruly monkey puppet, whose various tricks were met with huge acclaim from the children, to say nothing of the staff and Rotarians present! Finally, Santa brought the goodie bags and there was the customary present-giving session for each child. Thanks are extended to PP Mark for the organisation and PP Brian and Rosie for the goodie bags and snacks.
