Rotary Club of Belfast

1st Joint meeting with JCI Belfast

JCI meeting1The first ever joint Club meeting with JCI Belfast was held on Thursday 26 October in the Law Society House, those present were welcomed for JCI Belfast by John Rea and for the Club by IPP Ken Nixon.

At the meeting guest speaker eminent NI economist Dr Edmund Birnie gave an excellent, clear and concise summary of the economic situation in NI and its historical basis. It was greatly appreciated by all and the meeting ran over time as there were many questions. After the session many went across the road to Grannie Annie's for dinner.

The whole evening was a great success and greatly enjoyed by both Club and JCI Belfast members.
