Recent Speakers

The Club has been delighted to hear speakers from a wide-ranging compass during Club meetings this February. The Club thank each of them for their most interesting presentations which were very well received. Linen Lounge Delight

Another most enjoyable evening was had by the party of 47 at the Linen Lounge, Belfast Metropolitan College Thursday 27 February and the Club was delighted to have members' guests and 2 Junior Chamber members in the party. A glass of complimentary Prosecco was followed by a delicious 4 course meal, beautifully presented and served with aplomb and a smile. Plenty of fellowship and chat completed this most successful and convivial event. Many thanks are extended to the supervisors and the students and to Past President Alan Rundle for organising the evening. More here...

Pres Steven

It is a great honour for me to be again taking on the role of President for the Rotary year 2024/25. Being a Club based in Belfast city centre enables us to connect with the local Community, through service with YouthAction and Mitchell House, continuing our focus on peace and reconciliation projects and we also support key efforts to end Homelessness. Worldwide we support the fight to ‘End Polio Now’ and help some of the world’s poorest people work their own way out of poverty with dignity by investment in small business via the Lendwithcare scheme in many countries including Ecuador, Malawi and Cambodia. We recognise the tremendous amount of service already given by members but are looking forward to encouraging new members to join. Any prospective member is most welcome at any of our Monday meetings.

This year’s Rotary theme is The Magic of Rotary
and we hope that you will help us to expand our service and magic.

Ken Nixon, President 2024/25
