Global Scholar addresses Rotary Clubs

Katie Londonderry Aug 15 1aRotary Global Scholar Katie Scrantom, who is attached to the Rotary Club of Belfast, addressed the Rotary Club of Londonderry on 17 August 2015, her sixth such visit to Rotary clubs. Katie talked mainly about her research project with a multi-ethnic group of children in the Dungannon area.

She was accompanied by Belfast Club Past President Derek Baxter and presented with a Club banner by Londonderry President Peter O'Connor.

Accompanied by Past President Bryan Johnston Katie also addressed the Rotary Club of Dungannon August 18. She has had links with Dungannon during her year as she was involved with the 'Heroes on the Hill' initiative, where she interacted with young people through a dance and drumming international and inter-cultural project. She was also presented with a Club banner by President Derek Clements.
