Club Meetings

We are always delighted to welcome guests from the world of Rotary.

There are 2 possibilities for attendance at Club meetings: Monday Lunchtimes and, occasionally, Thursday evenings. We have a wide-ranging variety of topics for our speakers; the detailed Meeting schedule can be seen here.

Monday Lunchtime Meetings

The Club meets normally on Mondays, except Public Holidays, at the Europa Hotel, Belfast 12:45pm for 1:00pm - finishing at 2:00pm.

There is a self-service buffet, dress is casual business wear (normally jacket with optional tie). The meeting format is general business with, normally, a speaker who is allocated a 15 minute slot; occasionally there is a ‘my job’ speaker from the Club or a Business Meeting.

Thursday Evening Meetings

There is also, most weeks, an evening meeting on Thursday nights in the Radisson Hotel, Gas Works Complex, Ormeau Road, Belfast at 6:00pm - finishing at 7:00pm.

This meeting format is informal and commences with coffee/tea. There is adjoining parking with no charge when attending the meeting.

This provides an opportunity for an in-house make up and is designed to boost attendance and encourage all members to learn and participate in Club activities. The Thursday evening meeting is used by Service Chairs to hold Committee Meetings and discussion forums, or planning meetings on how best to implement Club activities. The Club Council also meet at this time and make their deliberations open to Club members to facilitate a more transparent decision making process within the Club.

This is a great opportunity for members to sit in on discussion meetings and contribute to the development of the Club. We encourage all members, and particularly new members, to attend on a regular basis.
