2 Days Left!

SetDon't miss out! Only 2 days are now left to write a message of remembrance to be attached to the Rotary Tree of Remembrance in Lanyon Place Railway Station entrance. This can be in recognition and memory of departed loved ones; those living abroad, who cannot be with you over the Christmas period, family or friends in hospital or ill at home or, for any other reason, to remember someone at this time of the year. All donations will go directly to this year’s nominated charities - NI Children’s Hospice, ShelterBox, Mitchell House School and Glebe House.

President Mark says: “the Club is delighted for the 5th year to be able to give people this opportunity 18-22 December and also Make a Difference by supporting: the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice who support children, carers and their loved ones through the Hospice's specialist programmes; ShelterBox an international disaster relief charity who provide emergency shelter and tools for families around the world affected by natural disaster or conflict; Mitchell House School a special school for children with physical disabilities and learning difficulties in Belfast and Glebe House who support cross community children and adult programmes in this unique residential setting in Strangford.

All the messages, each with their own story and thoughts of loved ones, will be subsequently dedicated at a service in January.
