Visitor from Harari, Zimbabwe

BannerExchangeThe Club were delighted to welcome Monday 23 July Rotarian Faxon Katiza, from Hunyani Rotary Club in Harari, Zimbabwe and his wife Tina. President Elect Karen Blair, noting that they had been married 51 years, presented him with a banner. Addressing the Club he noted that this was his 4th visit to Belfast visiting his daughter who had been working here for 10 years. He advised that his Club had 35 members and that there were 15 clubs in Harare covering Morning, midday and evening meetings and District 9210 also covered the countries Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia. He also talked about the economic situation in Zimbabwe and asked the Club to consider the possibility of some form of joint endeavour with any of their projects, particularly in the field of Water and Sanitation.
