Club hears about the Odessey

Eric Porter, Chairman, Odyssey Trust Company Ltd, outlined at the Club meeting 25 April how the Trust has developed from its early beginnings in the late 90's. He outlined that it was initially set up as the overseer of the separate activities on the site but it is now directly responsible for and manages the whole complex - the Arena, Pavilion and W5. 250 staff are now employed and they have staged hugely successful recent events such as the MTV Awards, Fire Games, US College Ice Hockey Tournament, Sports Personality of the Year and Adele's opening World Tour Concert. His talk was well received and appreciated by the members.
